About the role:
As the Senior Bid and Tender Manager, reporting to the Head of Sales, you’ll be responsible for creating and managing a Bid Team while overseeing reporting and feedback on Electric Vehicle (EV) customers. This role is critical to the growth of our portfolio of EV customers and contributes to overall sales performance against targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Own the end-to-end bid tender process.
2. Deliver professional and tailored bid responses that represent a FTSE 250 organisation.
3. Report progress to senior stakeholders up to Executive Committee level.
4. Plan, manage, report, and provide feedback on the delivery of all bids for our EV customers.
5. Create and deliver a Bid Library demonstrating the Drax purpose and brand.
6. Develop and implement effective bid processes that fulfil best practices.
7. Deliver commercially sound business tenders and bids within timescales.
8. Approve the creation and writing of bid proposals and templates for the Sales Team.
9. Take ownership of the Qualification matrix.
10. Lead internal post-bid reviews to enhance bid success.
11. Ensure all bids meet the Drax Brand guidelines.
Who we’re looking for:
To be successful in this role you’ll need:
1. A track record of leading a successful Bid Team with winning flagship accounts.
2. Experience in implementing strategic plans.
3. Experience presenting at senior executive level.
Knowledge of:
1. The Electric Vehicle markets.
2. Key industry regulatory frameworks and guidelines.
3. Data analysis and performance metrics.
4. Bid platforms and frameworks.
