We are seeking a highly motivated and hardworking Nurse Team Leader. Ward 10A is a 24 bedded inpatient unit providing care to oncology/haematology patients and general medical needs. Main duties of the job You will work as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team and must demonstrate expertise and leadership in the delivery of care to their patients. You will have an ability work collaboratively ensuring the delivery of high quality and safe patient centred care is always adhered to. Supporting continued education, training and staff development is paramount. You will be responsible for staff acquiring and maintaining professional standards and competencies challenging, and empowering others to challenge, poor practice, act in such a way as to always promote a positive image of the Trust and as such may need to represent the Sister/Charge Nurse with key stakeholders to promote this.
