Accounts Payable - UK/Europe - £27,000-£31,000 - on site in Waltham Cross. 3 month FTC
We have an exciting new role within the Finance team for our client based in Waltham Cross looking for a new Accounts Payable clerk. You will be part of a Finance team of around 10 people where English is the business language and needs to be highly fluent both spoken and written.
Some core duties will include:
1. Check, code and process supplier invoices
2. Ensure timely approval of invoices for payment
3. Prepare BACS payments, ensure remittance advice documents are sent out correctly
4. Reconcile supplier statements
5. Review import documentation and set up import payments
6. Allocate currency invoices to forward contracts
7. Reconcile duty invoices and other import costs
8. Process credit cards
9. Process employee expenses and petty cash
10. Prepare bank reconciliations

Key skills required for the role:
11. Fluency in English to a high standard both written and verbal
12. French is advantageous but not essential
13. Minimum 2 years accounts payable experience
14. High attention to detail, good organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and adapt to new improved processes when necessary
15. Intermediate Excel, Word and Outlook skills
16. Leading a team of 2
17. Short term contract ( 3 month cover )
This is a Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm onsite role based in Waltham Cross. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller you will work in a welcoming and supportive team, advancing your career within Accounts Payable and forging a career withing the company.
