Position: SEMH School Key Worker
Location: Great Yarmouth, Norfolk
Contract Type: Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, plus one or two sleep-ins per week during term time
Salary: £14 - £18 per hour, commensurate with experience
Role:
We are seeking a dedicated SEMH School Key Worker to join our team in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Individual Support: Ensuring each child's Individual Support Plan (ISP) aligns with their Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) and Thrive progress targets.

Advocacy: Acting as an advocate for a small group of children, supporting both their home life and educational development.

Collaboration: Working closely with teachers, care staff, and external agencies to promote each child's social and emotional development.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the care and leisure activities of assigned students under the guidance of the Senior SEMH Key Worker team.

Provide training and counselling to students in personal and social competence.

Participate in the sleep-in rota, staying overnight at the school as required.
