Eden Scott is delighted to be working with a tourism body based in Ireland who have the unique responsibility for marketing the island of Ireland overseas as a visitor destination.
It delivers world class marketing programmes in 23 markets across the world and reaches a global audience of up to 600 million each year.
They have a total of 168 staff worldwide and now an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team in the role of Trade & Industry Co-Ordinator (12 month contract) based on a hybrid basis from their central Glasgow office.

The successful candidate will play an important role in developing and growing business from GB to the island of Ireland.
Key responsibilities of the role
* Support a programme of trade, industry and consumer promotions in Scotland and GB to raise awareness of the island of Ireland’s holiday product to drive growth.
* Assist with organisation of events, B2B workshops, trade shows and familiarization visits across leisure, business events and luxury both in GB and in Ireland.
* Support the Glasgow team in the delivery of cooperative marketing campaigns with GB tour operators.
* Assist in the delivery of communications campaigns with leading GB leisure trade and luxury media outlets.
* Assist with the monitoring, on an ongoing basis, of market trends amongst GB tour operators programming Ireland, in doing so keeping internal CRM updated.
* Support administrative and financial procedures and processes for the Scotland team.
* Assist with budget preparation and control for the market, maintaining up to date budget records and files, processing budget and financial items, preparing reports on financial activities and status, ensuring accurate codes and charges for all income and expenditure.
Key skills and experience required:
* Relevant experience in tourism marketing or a tourism business development role with a record of achievement and experience.
* Good working experience and knowledge of key account management.
* Well-developed influencing and negotiation skills.
* Strong team player, possessing excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to forge strong working relationships with colleagues and business partners.
* Project/event experience as well as excellent organisational skills
This role offers an excellent competitive salary £27,905 - £34,971 and an extensive menu of company benefits.
