We are looking for a Lettings & Administration Specialist to join our Neighbourhoods team within the Lancashire area. This role is part time at 14 hours and working 2 days per week. This role is a home-based role, there is no daily requirement to attend an office with the flexibility to attend as and when required for anchor days and team meeting.
The purpose of the role is to co-ordinate the lettings process and support with neighbourhood's team administration.
Responsibilities will include:
Letting Our Homes
Managing re-housing waiting lists proactively so that offers can be made Ensuring nomination targets are met and building strong relationships with local authority partners and choice based letting providers.
Responding to lettings enquiries and housing options inquiries and providing housing advice to potential clients. Help with high needs and high-quality applicants, including active participation in initiatives such as Home + and flagging support needs.
Overseeing affordability assessments to check if applicants can afford to rent the property and ensuring that applicants have provided correct documentation.
Carrying out Tenancy fraud checks, ensuring that applicants are entitled to the correct property and ensure their application is correct.
Develop adverts and marketing campaigns in partnership with Neighbourhood Specialists.
Ensuring accurate tenancy agreements and sign-up packs are produced.
Ensuring new and prospective customers receive an excellent customer service experience during the lettings process.
General Administration
Perform general administrative duties to support the work of the Neighbourhoods team.
Process Subject Access Requests when required.
Administrative work on behalf of the local authority to administer their CBL systems which involves making banding assessments on customers and dealing with rehousing queries and advice. May be required to assist with office reception cover.

Experience of delivering customer service

IT skills - Microsoft office to Intermediate level
Experience of following set policies and processes
Desirable:
Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent qualification/ experience
Knowledge and awareness of related housing regulations/ law
