Material and Circularity Manager
Closing Date for Applications – 12th November (COB)
This is a site-based role at one of our primary and small molecule sites (Irvine, Montrose, Worthing, Singapore (Jurong).
Working with the PSM sites to implement programmes of work with the objectives of:
* Lead sites to achieve zero waste from operations (waste reduction and circularity).
* Provide technical leadership with regards to local solutions for waste elimination and circularity.
* Work with GPS to improve process efficiencies.
* Work with MSAT and Quality for solvent reduction in processes (manufacturing and cleaning).
* Maintenance zero waste to landfill.
* Waste data analysis, review to identify complex waste streams and solutions for circularity.

In this role you will:
* Work independently but is not expected to have any direct staff responsibilities.
* Lead workshops and maintain communication across various stakeholders and teams (R&D, Eco-Design, Procurement etc).
* Manage 3rd party partnership companies.
* Target setting, forecasting and project planning (waterfall assessments).
* Lead Kaizens and Site Assessments.
* Site support for GSK sustainability specifically waste, circularity and associated subjects.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
* Chemical Engineering or Chemistry Degree.
* Understanding of primary processes and have worked on primary sites.
* An ability to implement a programme of multi-site activity, realizing proven benefits.
* Experience in prioritising and resolving technical and business process issues.
* Strong team working, influencing and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
* Engineering, Environmental or EHS professional.
* Experienced in Sustainability Programmes at site level and Supply Chain level.
