An opportunity has arisen for a Part Time Clerical Officer based at University Hospital Ayr.
What you will do:
Duties include the maintenance and filing of patients confidential records, recording patient related data, admissions and booking out-patient appointments using the computerised Patient Management System. Providing reception services, answering telephones and relaying messages.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
You should possess SVQ Level 2 in administration or equivalent qualification or experience.
You should be able to work flexibly in order to meet service demands.

Hours:
18.5 per week
Hours of duty are:
Week 1: Monday – Tuesday 8.45am-5pm [45min lunch]
Wednesday 8.45am -12.15
Week 2: Wednesday: 1.30pm – 5pm
Thursday – Friday 8.45am – 5pm [45 min lunch]
Fixed Term/Secondment:
Please note this job is a fixed term/secondment for 12 months.
