This role offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of an innovative and collaborative organisation that embraces forward-thinking solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing security systems across various sectors, including commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, industrial, laboratories, and data centres. Reporting to the Section Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality security engineering and maintaining strong client engagement. Key Responsibilities: Design and deploy electronic security systems, including access control, intruder alarms, CCTV, duress systems, and intercoms. Develop security management frameworks and physical security measures such as perimeter protection, building security, and vehicle access controls. Conduct security risk assessments, implement crime prevention strategies, and carry out SABRE evaluations. Drive business development initiatives to acquire new projects and strengthen industry relationships. Lead client security meetings and workshops. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients during project design discussions. Perform condition assessments of existing buildings and provide detailed technical reports. Manage project budgets and allocate resources effectively. Support cyber security consulting services. Conduct site inspections and oversee testing with security contractors and clients. Contribute to research and development to improve security documentation and best practices. Requirements: At least five years of experience in security engineering. A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience. Demonstrated success in business development and securing new projects. Hands-on experience in commissioning security system installations. Strong technical expertise in IT, cybersecurity, and network infrastructure.
