bout the Role
This post is for a qualified person who will work within the Barts Cardiovascular Clinical Trials Unit (CVCTU) to develop databases for in-house and collaborator studies. You will work closely with the Senior Data Manager to assist with set-up and delivery of these databases. Part of your role will be to ensure compliance with CVCTU procedures and governance regulations. You may have the opportunity to engage in other areas of clinical trials relevant to your role, such as quality assurance, if this interests you.
About You
It is not necessary for the candidate to have a degree or coding languages (eg. Python), although these skills may be useful. We are looking for someone with a number of attributes but in particular:
1. Good experience of managing databases in a clinical trials unit setting, whether academic or commercial.
2. A good understanding of clinical trial and data governance eg. ICH GCP, UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018 etc.
