Account Manager
Location: Preston, Lancashire.
Salary: £28-30K per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday - 8.30 - 17.00 office-based role with flexible starting hours.
Client Profile:
Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier within the automotive sector. They are looking to add an Account Manager to work in their offices based in Preston.
Responsibilities:
1. Account Management:
o Customers/agent communications
o Setting up new customers price lists + New customer welcome pack
o Providing customer quotation regularly + Updating and Maintaining Customer Price Lists
o Back orders follow ups and updates
2. Product Management:
o Competitor Market Price info research/Data gathering
o Cross referencing
o Promoting new product range
3. Reports & Analysis Reports to Sales Team:
o Sales reports
o Sales figures analysis
o Cost/Price reduction requests
o Gross Margin report analysis
o Analysing product movement
o Product forecast
o Annual budget preparation
o Answering any Directors’ queries
4. Admin/Customer Service:
o Raising orders for both UK and European customers in a timely manner
o Dealing with customer enquiries by email and phone
o Dealing with any queries from sales managers.
o Main point of contact for customer service issues
o Arranging transportation for UK and European customer orders.
o Issuing documentation for transportation.
o Document Filing/Archiving
o General office duties such as answering the phone and other duties assigned by the management
Personal Specification:
The successful candidate for the role of Sales Administrator must have the following skills:
* Account Management experience
* Great Attention to detail
* Good with Excel
* Any experience within exports is desirable but not essential
* Any European Language skills a bonus but not required (e.g. German or French or Polish or Italian or Spanish etc)
