Cover Supervisor Job Description Job Title: Cover Supervisor Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Hazel Grove Job Type: Contract, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £89 - £99 Per day Job Duties: As a Cover Supervisor, your main responsibility will be to oversee classes in the absence of the regular teacher. Your duties include managing student behaviour, delivering pre-prepared lesson plans, ensuring a positive learning environment, and providing support to students as needed. Required Qualifications: GCSEs or equivalent qualifications Excellent communication skills Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics Strong organisational skills Education: A minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications are required for this role. Experience: Previous experience working in an educational setting or with children is desirable but not essential. Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of classroom management techniques Ability to follow lesson plans effectively Good interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a school environment Additional qualifications in education or child development Working Conditions: You will be working in a school setting, following the school's timetable and policies.
