Site Manager - Structural Steel

ARM, working in partnership with a major structural steelwork fabricator with an enviable history of success, are seeking a Site Manager with the relevant credentials to work full time on a major new build nuclear site. To be considered for this role, you will have notable delivery experience for a structural steelwork fabricator in the role of Site Manager.
As a Site Manager, your role is to effectively manage site-based activities safely, efficiently, within budget, and to schedule, ensuring compliance with company procedures, good practice, statutory legislation, and contractual obligations.
You will manage the programme and monitor the progress of site activities, taking action to ensure that deadlines are met in accordance with programme requirements for on-time project delivery.
You will manage client expectations, serve as the primary contact for the client, provide support to the project team at meetings, and oversee labour control across the site by reviewing all labour and plant equipment levels on an ongoing basis.
Safety is an absolute priority and is embedded in all aspects of the work. Therefore, an essential part of this role is to ensure safety compliance of all construction elements under your control. You will be required to obtain full security clearance for this role if you do not already hold it.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a construction-related degree or equivalent (NVQ L6) with construction experience and previous site management experience within the steelwork industry, ideally in an industrial-led environment.
