Founded by former Michelin-starred chef Paul Rhodes in 2003, Paul Rhodes Bakery has built a strong reputation as the go-to supplier of quality handcrafted sourdoughs, cakes and pastries in the capital. Paul’s ambition when he started the bakery was simple: to provide London’s busy chefs with the best handcrafted bread, made from the finest ingredients possible and traditional techniques.

We have both a wholesale business supplying some of London’s top restaurants, hotels, cafés, and entertainment venues, as well as our local retail bakery shop which is based a ten-minute walk up the road, in Greenwich Market.

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a skilled Stock / Goods In Manager whose role it will be to plan and manage scheduling of purchases in the business to ensure sufficient stock for changing production requirements. You will need to have experience with management and collaboration to ensure all teams needs are met and will pla an essential role in ensuring our handcrafted product are able to be produced each day and manage a Goods In Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with production, operations and development teams to identify, monitor, organise and replenish stock as needed.
* Forecast and plan business requirements for all materials in the bakery.
* Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely and accurate manner and liaising with suppliers directly when issues arise.
* Ensure all delivery documentation is matched to PO information and any non-conformances are investigated and escalate where appropriate.
* Manage, coordinate
and perform all stock takes and cycle counting activities and ensuring the
system is in line with counts on a timely basis.
* Manage a Goods In Assistant to help run the department.
What We're Looking For:
* Valid forklift truck licence.
* Physical ability to lift and manage heavy materials as required.
* Attention to detail ensuring accuracy in receiving documenting goods-in is vital.
* Highly organised with ability to manage inventory effectively and managing an orderly stock system.
* Clear communication skills with suppliers, team members and other departments.
