Overview of the role

We are now very excited to be hiring a Solutions Executive for our Managed Services department. The role will include sales and administration activities (e.g. renewals reporting, portal management), vendor management, training and customer satisfaction, all linked to the aforementioned technology. The candidate will also engage in sales activities and collaboration, aimed at promoting and discovering solutions opportunities both in Phoenix’s existing customer base and net new prospects.
What will you be doing?
* Understand vendor programs to collate and provide all relevant information to both internal and external stakeholders
* Understand the full value of certain key vendors business proposition and product lines, such as VMware, Dell Technologies etc.
* Champion focus technologies within each of the Phoenix sales teams, work with sales staff to raise awareness and increase the identification of relevant opportunities
* Understand the various procurement programmes and be able to articulate to the Phoenix sales teams the best way to leverage these to make maximum margin and rebate for both renewals and new business
* Developing processes to ensure compliance, collaboration and efficiency within Phoenix to the benefit of both our business and customers

What are we looking for?
The right person for this role will have experience in the IT sector with an existing understanding of infrastructure solutions. This role will be mainly focused on VMware by Broadcom solutions and the right person will already have a basic understanding of this technology.

* Organisational skills and the ability to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders
* Verbally communicate precisely, effectively and with authority to both individuals and groups
* Create concise and accurate email communications
* That you are self-motivated and self-sufficient, able to manage your own time and workload

What about hybrid working?
Two days p/ w in the office is the minimum expectation for this role.
