An exciting opportunity has arisen within Cardiology for the right candidate to lead and manage our CCU, a six-bed ward, and the nursing side of the cardiology diagnostics we support. The diagnostics involved would include the Cardiac Catheter lab, Ablations, Cardioversions, Stress ECHO, and Myocardial perfusion stress testing in nuclear medicine.
CCU is currently specializing in NSTEMI, Arrhythmias, and Heart failure. We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who is keen to rise to the challenges of a varied role and be part of an innovative, multidisciplinary team caring for acutely unwell patients. They would work with another band 7 already established in post in order to run this dynamic cardiology service.
You must demonstrate significant experience as a sister, including evidence of promoting change, having already achieved a mentorship qualification, and evidence of further cardiology learning. You will need to have excellent communication and leadership skills.
We can offer you a friendly and supportive environment with the opportunity to develop your leadership and managerial skills.
