The Public Relations Manager will develop a global PR strategy, helping to position Robert Walters as a leading talent solutions business, raise awareness of our service lines, and position our executive team as thought leaders in the industry. As a key member of our communications team, the PR Manager will work closely with our Senior Global Communications Manager and international stakeholders to ensure our global PR efforts align with our business objectives. What are the key responsibilities of this role? You will create and execute tailored PR plans to elevate the visibility of our c-suite executives as thought leaders in their respective fields and secure strategic media coverage that boosts both executive profiles and overall brand awareness for Robert Walters. Develop and implement an annual global PR calendar that ensures year-on-year growth in both the quantity and quality of press coverage. Act as the creative hub for PR content, providing all business arms with regular, localised PR angles and press releases. Provide media training to senior leaders across the organisation, ensuring they are well-prepared for media interviews. Serve as the PR subject matter expert for Regional Marketing Directors, providing strategic advice and guidance. Mentor and coach PR/Marketing Executives across Robert Walters, ensuring high standards in execution of basic PR practices. Oversee the reporting and analysis of global PR results, including monthly, quarterly, and annual performance assessments against agreed objectives. Positioning Robert Walters as a Leading Global Talent Solutions Provider: Develop tailored PR calendars for each of Robert Walters' service lines, including recruitment, advisory and outsourcing. Collaborate with the Global Campaign Manager to execute global content campaigns, securing PR coverage for these initiatives. Develop and manage PR strategies for Robert Walters' ESG initiatives (e.g., Global Angels). Build and nurture strong relationships with key journalists to proactively pitch and secure media coverage. What are the key requirements for this role? Minimum 5 years' proven experience delivering PR high quality coverage either in-house or in an agency environment. International PR experience is highly desirable, particularly from outside of the UK. Strong creative thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop strategic PR plans. Experience in engaging with executive leaders and working closely with tier 1 media outlets. Exceptional relationship-building skills with journalists and media professionals. Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with experience handling multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge and experience in developing PR strategies for diverse industries, including recruitment, advisory, and ESG. What do Robert Walters offer?
