Monarch Education are working alongside a Primary School in the Telford area and they're looking to welcome in a new Qualified Teacher. This role will be from January 2025 to cover a Year 2 class whilst the main class teacher is on maternity leave.
Job roles include but are not limited to:
1. Be able to plan and deliver lessons aligned with the national curriculum, focusing on core subjects such as Mathematics, English and Science.
2. Adapt and learn different teaching strategies to meet all diverse learning needs and abilities of all students.
3. Emphasize phonics and reading comprehension skills.
4. Establish and enforce rules to maintain a positive and respectful learning environment.
5. Communicate with parents through meetings, emails or newsletters to discuss their progress and their areas for improvement.
The ideal candidate will hold:
1. A Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. An enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
3. Experience working with a Year 2 class
