Join Close Brothers Investor Relations & Marketing Team where you will take day to day responsibility for supporting the execution of the IR strategy. Working as part of the Investor Relations & Marketing team, our ideal team member will have previous experience in supporting the planning and execution of investor relations programmes, maintaining the quality and consistency of the group’s interaction with analysts, investors, and other financial market participants with an excellent understanding of the financial markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Production of IR activity reporting to monitor/evaluate progress of the IR programme. Oversee the updating and maintenance of the IR CRM database to ensure reliability of stats on shareholder engagement.
* Monitor share price, valuation, and share register movements and report on these to the wider IR team, Management, and the Board.
* Liaise with corporate brokers and advisors on potential investor targeting activity.
* Produce high-quality materials for results announcements, presentations, and other events, including drafting of regulatory announcements, presentations, and supporting materials.
* Support Senior Management and the Board, including attendance at investor meetings, preparation of presentations, briefings, and drafting of Board reports.
* Handle investor and analyst’s enquiries, ensuring responses are timely, accurate, and consistent with agreed key messages and disclosures. Monitor the Investor Relations email inbox.
* Conduct peer reporting benchmarking to identify themes and developments relevant to the group or its investor communications.
* Review and monitor investor feedback and analyst research, reporting the market’s views to the executive team and the Board. Monitor and maintain a robust analyst consensus, analysing analysts’ valuation models and highlighting any areas of improvement to the sell-side.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
* A proven track record in investor relations or related functions such as Finance, Corporate Development/Strategy, ideally gained in the Financial services sector in a UK plc.
* Experience of managing the IR programme of a listed company.
* Proven experience of drafting financial results and other announcements.
* Strong financial literacy and technical ability.
* Focus on quality and attention to detail.
* Confident in engaging with both internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.
