Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) and behavioural needs? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support students at KS3/KS4 level.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with SEMH and behavioural needs in a classroom environment.
* Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored interventions and differentiated learning activities.
* Support students in managing their emotions and behaviour, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Help students to develop social skills, resilience, and self-regulation strategies.
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour plans.
* Monitor and report on student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff and contributing to review meetings.
Requirements:
1. Experience working with young people with SEMH and behavioural needs (essential).
2. Ability to commit to full-time work during term time.
