Job Description - Asset Surveyor - Stock Condition

Are you a newly qualified building surveying graduate, or have experience within a Repairs, Defects or Construction background? We’re currently recruiting for a Stock Condition Surveyor to join our Asset Management team.
What you’ll achieve in the role:
The overall purpose of this role is the collection of accurate stock condition data on Raven properties to assist with the delivery of planned component replacement programmes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Primarily responsible for undertaking Stock Condition Surveys, Identifying HHSRS hazards and any other surveying requirements.
* Supporting the long-term strategic asset management of over 6,000 social rented homes and other managed assets.
* Providing reports relating to the condition of the housing stock that will help inform strategic investment decisions and for compliance with the Decent Homes Standard.
What you’ll bring to Raven:
For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:
* Building Surveying or similar qualification, with knowledge of CDM and H&S legislation, building construction and use of materials; we would also consider a newly qualified building surveying graduate, or someone with experience in Repairs, Defects and/or Construction.
* Ideally, experience of undertaking Stock Condition Surveys and HHSRS (although training can be provided) with an understanding of the impact survey data has on the business planning process and an awareness of the Net Zero Carbon journey and EPC C requirements to 2030.
* Willingness to learn and develop professionally – potential future training opportunities as a Domestic Energy Assessor and PAS2035 retrofit assessor qualifications.
* Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
DBS clearance will be required for this role.
