We are currently looking for an experienced person to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day administration and management of the library.
The main duties of the post are:
1. To supervise the efficient day-to-day administration and management of the library.
2. Supervision of staff in the library.
3. Routine supervision of IT equipment and services.
4. Contribute to staff training requirements within the library.
5. Contribute formally to discussions on service development especially through engagement with schools and local community groups.
6. To identify growth potential for the library and promote library usage.
7. To contribute to stock selection and promotion.
8. To maintain records and undertake the necessary checks in line with the Health and Safety of the building.
9. To develop links with young people organisations and schools to enhance services to children.
10. To be flexible and adapt to changes within the service.
11. To contribute to the implementation of the Authority's policies.
12. To undertake any duties, commensurate with the post and grade, as may be assigned by the Library Services Coordinator.
You will have experience of:
1. Professional library work.
2. Experience of supervising and motivating staff.
3. Extensive experience of working in public libraries and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ideally you will have:
1. A good standard of education, minimum of 4 GCSE's or equivalent grades A-C, which should include English.
