Title: Commercial & Business Development Manager (UK & Europe)

We are looking for a person to help maintain and grow our presence with our Travel Agency Partners in the UK & Europe. Someone who is passionate about travel and wants to use their experience in sales to put people on our life-changing experiences all over the globe. As we grow as a business after the significant bounce back post pandemic we are looking for someone who is confident in their ability to provide confidence and excitement to our agency partners to put their customers on the best tours out there.

What you’ll do
You’ll be our voice! The preacher of our why! You’ll create connections and build relationships with people that can help us influence and inspire more people to live the dream and do some good whilst having the time of their lives. Your personality will be infectious and will need to replicate our brand. You’ll be laid back, funny and can spark conversation in any room.
This will consist of:
* Identifying opportunities for new partnerships with Travel Agencies in the United Kingdom & Europe.
* Nurturing our existing partnerships to maximise their potential.
* Providing data analysis and feedback to how we can improve existing partnerships to our partners as well as the Leadership team at TruTravels.
* Pitching our new lines of products to agency partners across the globe and signing up more partners.
* Creating marketing plans with partners both in store and online to ensure our products gain prominent placements with their audience.
* Providing training to agents both in person and remotely on all TruTravels product whilst highlighting key USPs.
* Thinking creatively and keeping up to date with market trends to build strong campaigns & incentives with partners.
* Understanding what makes our products stand out and thinking of new ways to help get this across to agents & customers.
* Handling any booking issues with our partners in your regions.
* Having a solid understanding on the recruitment cycle of each different partner to make sure new employees are introduced to our products.
* Working with our team to redesign the way we train our partners as the world becomes more remote focused.
What you need to be
* Travel Industry experience is mandatory for this role
* Passionate about travel
* Confident in presenting in front of all types of people
* An excellent networker with strong verbal and written communication skills
* Comfortable using data to help present performance to senior management as well as using it to help drive our decisions moving forward
* Willing to travel as part of your role and spend time away from home both domestically & internationally (covered by TruTravels)
* Driven by sales and able to reach & exceed targets
* Flexible to adjust to changing circumstances
* Holder of a full UK drivers license
* Willing to travel and spend time on the road visiting partners
* Able to manage and motivate a team of brand ambassadors
* Willing to potentially build a team around you
* A team player who is happy to assist in other areas of the business when required
