Finance Administrator Job Title: Finance Administrator Location: Manchester Duration: Permanent Hours: Part Time (20 hours per week flexible on how these hours are worked) Salary: £14 per hour Overview We are working with a well-established telecoms company based in Manchester who are looking to hire a part time Finance Administrator to support the day-to-day administration duties supporting the Finance Director. As they continue their rapid expansion, they are looking for a proactive and energetic individual to provide essential finance and business administration support across the organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our finance function and supporting our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities As a Finance Administration Assistant, you will report directly to the Head of Finance. Your role will include: Finance Support Managing the end-to-end processes for Accounts Payable and Receivable. Accurately inputting invoices into the financial accounting system and maintaining records. Assisting in the reconciliation of financial statements and resolving discrepancies. Supporting the Head of Finance with monthly billing cycles and payroll preparation. Managing employee expense claims to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement. Administrative Support Providing general business administration and office management support. Monitoring and ordering office supplies, including stationery, equipment, and other essentials. Arranging meetings, booking facilities, and organizing couriers as needed. Assisting with the coordination of internal and external communications. Project Assistance Participating in ad hoc financial and operational projects to improve processes and efficiency. Supporting the implementation of new policies, tools, and systems as the business evolves. Essential Skills and Attributes Strong academic background with proficiency in Maths and English. Excellent attention to detail, particularly in numeric and data entry tasks. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams. Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively. A proactive problem-solver with a positive, “can-do” attitude. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships. A passion for finance and a keen interest in understanding business operations. Full UK Driving licence Desirable Skills Previous experience in a similar finance or administrative role is advantageous but not essential.
