An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Trafford Leisure team as a Leisure Assistant/Lifeguard. We promise a challenging but rewarding role within a Community Interest Company (CIC) that would be adding real value to the Trafford and wider Greater Manchester residents.
Trafford Leisure is a community interest company, we exist to benefit the Trafford community and we are committed to being a responsible and sustainable employer. We are the largest operator of sport and leisure facilities in Trafford, operating nine indoor facilities, one golf course and driving range and 31 outdoor football pitches, attracting over 2 million visits per year and employing a workforce of over 300 people. This is a pivotal point in our evolution as Trafford Council invest millions of pounds into the 5 main indoor leisure facilities in Trafford over the next 5 years. The ambitious investment program will see the portfolio of centres transformed into fit for purpose, accessible, inspiring spaces under a new brand for future generations to come. Alongside this we need to ensure we have developed a committed team across Trafford Leisure to allow us to continue delivering the best service to our customers to help create opportunities for them to move more and live longer, healthier, happier lives.
The role: In this role you will be responsible for:
* Meet & Greet of customers
* Keeping up to date on our systems and processes
* Maintaining training and qualifications
* Preparing activity areas and equipment to meet the needs of the programme
* Ensuring equipment is at a first-class standard in safety and cleanliness
* Ensuring the safety of our swimming customers
* Listening and responding to customers’ requests
* Working with your managers to continuously improve service
* Supporting your Centre's sales and retention
We are looking for motivated, proactive and enthusiastic individuals to join our team at an exciting period of change for Trafford Leisure.
To be successful in this role you must have a RLSS Pool Lifeguard Qualification.

Working Hours: Various hours available including evenings and weekends.
Primary Location: We have constant vacancies across all our 4 centres at Stretford, Urmston, Sale and Altrincham and we will work with applicants to place you in the most desirable work location although we do require flexibility on location.
