Job summary
We are currently a partnership of four GP's, but are always on the lookout for the right people to join our team and expand the partnership.
It goes without saying that the new partner(s) must providehigh quality care to our patient population, but equally importantly they mustprovide leadership, support, and direction to our staff and to the business asa whole.
They must be dedicated, hardworking and compassionate clinicians, whilst also being innovative and enthusiastic change agents, with an ability to contribute to every aspect of the partnership, including the continuous improvement of our clinical quality and our patient and staff experience.
They need to think progressively and be adaptable to achanging landscape within Primary Care without losing sight of the core purpose of General Practice.
Most importantly a new partner must be a role model withinthe practice and the wider healthcare community. They must model our cultureand our values, they must be a positive influence in our team and must be adriving force for high quality General Practice.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a GP Partner to work six to eight sessions per week. This will encompass clinical work, clinical leadership and leadership of the business. Beyond routine clinical patient care there are exciting opportunities for our partners to develop skill in a diverse range of activities, including:
- GP training
- Undergraduate medical school teaching
- Prescribing
-Dispensing
- Quality improvement
- Clinical leadership
- Finance and property
- PCN activities

- We dispense to a proportion of our patients from modern purpose-built premises at one of our branch surgeries

- Weare a training Practice with GP registrars, FY2 doctors, Year 4 medicalstudents and trainee nurses regularly onsite.

Qualifications
Essential
1. Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP
2. General Practitioner Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT)
3. MRCGP
4. Full GMC registration
5. National Performers List registration
6. Appropriate MDO indemnity (MPS/MDU)
7. Eligibility to practice in the UK independently
8. Experience of working in a UK primary care setting
9. Evidence of a commitment to continued professional development
10. Excellent level of clinical knowledge and skills
11. Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
12. Excellent interpersonal skills
13. Satisfactory Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
14. Occupational Health clearance
