We are recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in West Yorkshire who is seeking a Fleet Manager to orchestrate their vehicle operations. This full-time position offers a Monday to Friday work schedule on days, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.
Fleet Manager Specification
As the driving force behind the fleet operations, the successful candidate will be entrusted with:
1. The oversight of vehicle maintenance, compliance with transport laws, and the efficient coordination of logistics.
2. The role demands a strategic thinker who can manage both the day-to-day and the long-term vision of the fleet's performance and productivity.
3. The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in fleet management, demonstrating a track record of success in overseeing a diverse range of vehicles and ensuring operational excellence.
4. A strong grasp of compliance regulations and an unwavering commitment to safety standards are paramount.
5. Exceptional leadership skills are essential, as the role involves guiding a dedicated team towards achieving organisational goals.
Requirements
1. Be a current CPC Holder and have had this for a minimum of 2 years.
Fleet Manager Hours:
You will work Monday to Friday on days. Circa 40 hours per week.
The Pay:
The pay rate is circa £45,000 to £48,000.
