Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a SEMH provision in Northumberland, looking for an experienced Youth Worker to join their team to aid with behaviour management. The role will require you to work alongside a class teacher to support with learning and engagement, you may also be expected to work 1:1 with children across multiple year groups (KS3 and 4).

This role is full time, commencing ASAP through until the Easter holidays, with the potenial for a permanent contract for the right educator.
The ideal candidate will be able to:
- Work effectively as part of a team within the classroom ensuring that all the children are looked after and learning from the taught content.
- Work 1:1 with children with SEN.
- Be confident in responding to challenging behaviours
- Work coherently with teachers in providing support for students.
- Have a passion for assisting students.
- Be enthusiastic and proactive in the classroom..
- Promote and encourage independence and personal development.
