SEN LSA - Watford Full Time - ASAP - £105-120
Veritas are currently working closely with a secondary school in Watford who are looking to appoint 2 experienced SEN LSA's immediately. Our school boasts a great Ofsted report, with strong ties to the local community and a cohort of ambitious, curious and strong-willed pupils.
Role Expectations:
1. Supporting students with SEN: Assist students with special educational needs in accessing the curriculum, both in class and through one-to-one or small group interventions.
2. Personalized learning support: Adapt teaching materials and resources to meet the specific learning needs of individual students, as directed by the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) or class teacher.
3. Promoting inclusion: Help integrate students with SEN into mainstream classes, ensuring they feel included and able to participate.
4. Monitoring progress: Assist in assessing and tracking the academic and social progress of students with SEN, providing regular feedback to the SENCO and teaching staff.
5. Managing behaviour: Support students in managing their behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy, using de-escalation techniques if needed.
