Job Title: Inside Sales Location: Newcastle upon Tyne Reports To: Sales Director - Europe Summary The Inside Sales role for IPS Adhesives is responsible for supporting the sales director to drive the segment’s channel strategy. The strategy will support the goals of the division and segment and lead to successful business and financial results. The position reports to the Director of Sales and is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. IPS Adhesives is a long-standing successful adhesives manufacturer that offers an extensive range of structural adhesive technologies in the Marine, Transportation, Sign Fabrication, Building Construction, Quartz Surfacing, and Product Assembly markets. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting commercial strategic initiatives that drive segment and channel sales for Unika, including managing accounts for Inside Sales, sales funnel tracking, and regional trade show or customer event coordination. S/he will work closely with the Director of Sales to support customers to help drive growth at key accounts. Support decentralized and smaller Unika customers directly. Work closely with sales, customer service, technical service to capture VOC (Voice of Customer) in CRM (Salesforce) Help identify channel/segment trends and key opportunities for improvements (process, products, service offerings, etc.) Assist and support sales with follow up on sample requests, customer demos, customer product inquiries or product complaints Support Director of Sales with tracking commercial sales funnel in CRM (Salesforce); work with sales team to ensure that new opportunities are accurately captured and tracked in the sales funnel Support and drive sales through accounts which are handled by Inside Sales, including preparing price quotes, sending samples and following up with accounts as needed Coordinate with Customer Service Team and/or Technical Service Team on specific customer inquiries or issues and track the inquiries/issues in CRM Assist with trade show/regional event coordination/customer events (logistics, trade show booth, literature, registration, hotel booking, trade show expense tracking, etc.) Perform monthly price support rebate reconciliation and submit for approval per the IPSA DOA Coordinate with Director of Sales on creation of customer communications and coordinate/manage roll-out All other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no internal supervisory responsibilities. Skills & Experience Great customer facing communication skills Excellent organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Office, PowerPoint Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills 1-3 years of experience in Inside Sales/Customer Service/Channel supporting roles Qualifications This position requires a self-starter who is well rounded, professional and who is detail oriented and able to manage projects and communicate effectively with internal and external customers. Demonstrated VOC (voice of customer) focus with ability to multi-task effectively Quick learner and ability to work with internal/external customers to drive and support commercial sales/strategic initiatives Ability to travel up to 10% Education and/or Experience Preferred An individual must have a willingness to learn along with excellent analytical and problem solving skills, excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, excellent computer, Microsoft Suite knowledge, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
