Your impact:
In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping and delivering resourcing strategies that directly align with our business goals. You’ll take the lead on exciting recruitment campaigns, anticipate staffing needs, manage seamless processes, and work closely with teams across the business to ensure we attract the talent and skills that will drive our success. Your contributions will be vital in building a high-performing, future-ready workforce.
The Job:
* Strategic Workforce Planning: Collaborate with senior management to align resourcing strategies with business objectives and conduct skills gap analysis and succession planning.
* Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment campaigns, develop sourcing strategies, and build a pipeline for critical positions.
* Stakeholder Management: Partner with department heads and hiring managers to deliver tailored recruitment solutions and ensure alignment with Geoquip Marine’s values.
* Employer Branding & Candidate Experience: Work with marketing and HR teams to strengthen our employer brand and ensure a seamless experience for candidates throughout the hiring process.
* Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor recruitment metrics, provide insightful reports to the Head of HR, and help improve recruitment strategies.
* Budget & Vendor Management: Assist with managing the resourcing budget and collaborate with recruitment agencies to ensure top-quality outcomes.
* Diversity & Inclusion: Promote inclusive recruitment practices, develop strategies to enhance workplace diversity, and mitigate bias in the hiring process.
The Person:
* Degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources or a related field.
* Significant experience in recruitment, HR, or workforce planning in a strategic managerial role.
* Proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS, and recruitment tools.
* Knowledge of UK and international employment law, especially regarding recruitment and equality.
* Strong analytical skills to drive data-driven recruitment decisions and improvements.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
* A strategic thinker with adaptability and strong problem-solving abilities.
* A team player with high emotional intelligence and a strong commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
