Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Governance role at Aintree Hospital. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Governance, the post holder will have a good understanding & knowledge of governance in a Health Care setting and will have responsibility for supporting all aspects of governance across their area of responsibility. This will include advice, management and support of risk, incident and complaints management processes and clinical effectiveness across the Aintree site. The post holder will have good analytical skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. They will be a natural leader with extensive experience in transforming and leading high performing governance teams. Candidates should have skills and experience of key governance and assurance principles. This role also requires individuals with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage their own workload without supervision within a busy environment.
