What We’re Looking For
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
* Registered Nurse Qualification: With a valid NMC Pin.
* Proven Leadership Experience: Ideally, experience as a Clinical Lead or Deputy Manager in a similar setting.
* Strong Team Management Skills: The ability to lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary team.
* Expertise in Care Planning: A solid track record in creating and maintaining person-centred care plans.
* Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with CQC standards, care policies, and relevant legislation.
* Medication Management: Comprehensive understanding of medication processes and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
* Person-Centred Care: Design, review, and oversee individualized care plans that reflect the unique needs of the people we support. Involve individuals and their families in every step of the process.
* Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of nurses and support staff, ensuring they have the skills, guidance, and training necessary to provide exceptional care.
* Clinical Oversight: Monitor, assess, and respond swiftly to changes in health conditions, including liaising with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care delivery.
* Medication Management: Ensure the safe handling, storage, and administration of medications in line with best practices and relevant guidelines.
* Compliance & Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement to deliver high-quality care.
* Training & Development: Identify staff training needs, facilitate professional development opportunities, and conduct performance appraisals to enhance team growth.
* Other Duties: Contribute to the effective operation of the service by undertaking additional responsibilities as required.
