Who We Are Looking For:
Westmorland and Furness Council is seeking a dedicated Service Support Officer to join our ICT service team and contribute to the effective delivery of IT services. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, ensuring that technology services are delivered efficiently and align with our organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative, asset, and configuration management support.
2. Manage ICT procurement requests.
3. Act as a point of reference to ICT service staff for procurement queries and issues.
4. Manage goods receipting and disposal.
5. Maintain service quality, conduct regular reviews, and implement best practices in ITIL methodologies.
