Job Purpose

Social Work with Families brings together people working for children who are subject to child protection plans, children in need, and Children Looked After. We work in a small Locality service, with your Team Manager, Business Support Officer, and colleagues who will support you to use your skills and knowledge to create the best possible outcomes for children and families in Croydon.

Responsibilities
We are looking for confident Qualified Social Workers, that are Social Work England Registered and who have completed their ASYE. You should be able to demonstrate skills, resilience, and experience in:
1. Making relationships to create change
2. Identifying and working with families’ strengths
3. Managing complex cases
4. Representing children in court with empathy and professionalism
5. Working directly with children, young people, and their families
6. Understanding thresholds of need
7. Excellent analytical and writing skills
8. Effective time management skills
