Wohali is a fast-growing real estate development and private ultra-luxury community in its start-up phase comprising of our own construction team and the imminent introduction of our resort services. We are currently seeking a Lead Electrician to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
A Lead Electrician oversees a team of electricians on projects, ensuring proper electrical installations according to blueprints and building codes, performing complex electrical troubleshooting, managing project timelines, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with other trades on site; essentially acting as the primary electrical expert on a construction project while leading a crew of electricians.
Job Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of electricians on assigned projects.
* Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand electrical requirements.
* Estimate labor and material costs for electrical installations.
* Ensure project timelines are met, and work is completed within budget.
* Conduct safety meetings and enforce safety protocols on the job site.
* Assign tasks to crew members based on skill level and project demands.
Technical Expertise:
* Perform complex electrical installations, including wiring, panel boards, conduit systems, and lighting fixtures.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnose malfunctions, and implement repairs.
* Interpret electrical codes and ensure compliance with local regulations.
* Stay updated on new electrical technologies and best practices.
Team Leadership:
* Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates.
* Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
* Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching, addressing any quality concerns.
* Receive complaints and resolve problems.
* Maintain timekeeping and personnel records.
* Prepare and submit performance reports.
* Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises.
* Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa.
