The Multicultural Women’s Friendship Group welcomes women of all ages, all cultures, and all religions to come together for friendship, creativity, and fun every Wednesday in Southport.
The Role
MFO is seeking highly motivated, committed, and flexible volunteers to support our weekly women’s group. This is an extremely rewarding role that supports migrant and refugee women to settle and thrive in a new country.
The role includes:
1. Shop and set up morning tea snacks, tea, and coffee;
2. Set up the room for the required activity;
3. Assist the women during the activity ensuring they feel welcome and included;
4. Clean up and pack the room.
Volunteers must be available every Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
Need to Know
Volunteers are required to obtain a Blue Card and sign the MFO Volunteers Agreement.
