Salary: £30,060 - £34,314 fte dependent on experience (£14,975 - £17,095 prorated salary based on 21 hours term time include insets and additional days for exam results)

About the role
The Castle School is recruiting a Data Officer who will have responsibility for the management of data and its related systems within the school.
Key responsibilities:
* Monitoring and collating a range of school data;
* Ensuring the data is accurate;
* Reporting data both internally and externally;
* Admissions, timetable changes and census collation are also significant elements of the role;
* In addition to the maintenance of SIMS, you will also administer other school data related systems such as Class Charts.
The only requirements we make are that you are able to commit to a minimum of 21 hours per week at The Castle School. You will need to be able to work the GCSE and A-Level Exams Results Days during the school holidays.
About you
You will have experience of working with data or with running systems and/or you have worked in a school environment. You will enjoy working collaboratively and be a self-starter used to working to deadlines and managing multi workflows. You will have the ability to work with a range of stakeholders to ensure processes are followed and both internal and external deadlines are met. The successful candidate needs an eye for detail and the ability to follow processes and to think logically. You will need to be able to work both independently and as part of a team and will also have the support of a Data Administrator. An ability to already use SIMS (our current MIS system) would be an advantage but we will provide training for the right candidate.
