Manager – Strategic Alliances & Partnerships
* Reporting To: Group Head of Sustainability, Europe and Telecoms

Key Purpose of Role:
Manage key aspects of sustainability strategy and reporting for the telecommunications division, as well as engaging with telecommunications division operating companies, to help drive a cohesive and leading approach to sustainability, particularly with consideration to the expectations of parent company CK Hutchison Holdings and external investors.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities / Tasks:
* Manage the program of telecommunications division compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive, including implementation of key change projects as well as reporting.
* Manage sustainability reporting including voluntary reporting and compliance reports, working with the Head of Sustainability Finance on data aspects, and with the support of a Sustainability Analyst.
* Manage other sustainability and ESG disclosures and ESG ratings processes, including CDP, EcoVadis, Sustainalytics.
* Act as a key contact for parent CK Hutchison Holdings for supporting parent company disclosures, answering questions etc.
* Engaging with operating companies to obtain required information and supportive collaborative progress, on requirements to support the overall telecommunications and CK Hutchison Group sustainability approaches.
* Driving forward individual projects that advance the overall approach of the telecommunications division to sustainability, supportive of compliance requirements and investor expectations. This may include, for example, high-level biodiversity assessment, and risk-based supplier due diligence, among other aspects which emerge as priorities over time.
Qualifications
Experience & Expertise:
* Experience managing sustainability projects, either in-house or in a professional services environment.
* Ideally a Master’s degree in a sustainability-related subject.
* Awareness and understanding of key sustainability disclosure frameworks and regulatory developments.
* Very comfortable with written communication, in particular report-writing and presentations.
* Experience and enjoyment of engaging with a diverse group of internal stakeholders to understand, influence and / or collaborate.
Skills & Approach:
* Highly collaborative.
* Use initiative and a self-starter; also open to seeking guidance regularly and knowing when to raise issues.
* Keen to explore new topics and to learn, given the evolving nature of the sustainability field.
* A good organiser and project manager.
* Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
