We are looking for a Programme Support Officer to work in our Day to Day Repairs Team to assist with the daily planning of trade diaries. Southampton is a city of opportunity. About The Role You will be part of the busy Estates team within our Housing Operations Service that carry out over 40,000 repairs per annum as well as maintenance and project work to over 16,500 council owned properties throughout our estates across the city. Your duties will include; Organising the diaries of the Trades Updating organisational specific databases Dealing with telephone, face to face and email queries Raising purchase orders to suppliers Paying invoices Supporting the other members of the team Experience and knowledge in this field is a must. About You As the work is varied a flexible approach is required to meet changing needs and tight deadlines. Excellent customer service skills, enthusiasm, and a ‘can do’ attitude is essential as you’ll be our ambassador when speaking to customers and suppliers. You will liaise with residents, peers and colleagues on a daily basis so communication and customer focus will be essential to the role. Organisational, customer service, time management and IT skills are key to this role.
