Senior Quantity Surveyor / Procurement & Contract Manager
About the Company:
Becoming a part of Belcan Workforce Solutions, you will be working with a leading UK construction and regeneration group. Based primarily in Manchester, you will split your time between home office work and site-based work in County Durham (hybrid working arrangement)
About the Role:
This role involves managing procurement and contract administration on various projects. Responsibilities include developing supply chains, creating procurement strategies, tendering and evaluation, negotiation, and contract management. You will also contribute to main contract terms and conditions reviews.
Responsibilities:
* Procure equipment, contracts, subcontracts, and services for company projects, with a focus on M&E and Process Engineering Construction Packages.
* Collaborate with project teams and customers to deliver exceptional service and develop repeat business through quality performance.
* Assist in reviewing main contracts and provide guidance to project teams.
* Administer contracts on behalf of clients and their clients, including payments, variations, expediting, and forecasting.
* Provide cost and commercial reporting.
Qualifications:
* Experience with NEC4 contracts is mandatory.
* Extensive experience as a procurement or contracts manager in the construction or related industries is required.
* Membership with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, preferably with relevant experience.
* EPCM experience is desirable.
* A willingness to travel occasionally to client sites is essential.
