We are looking for a highly skilled Finance Modeller to join our dynamic Finance team at toob. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our company’s financial model, which encompasses the Profit and Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Build, Develop, Maintain, and Improve Financial Models: Continuously create, refine, and optimise complex financial models that support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
2. Design and Implement Data Models: Create robust data models that streamline reporting processes, ensuring timely and enhance financial analysis efficiency across the organisation.
3. Collaborate with Internal Departments: Partner with departments to gather operational data and understand financial needs. Establish strong data governance practices to ensure accurate, consistent, and reliable data.
4. Utilise Advanced Data Analytics Tools: Use advanced Excel functions and other tools to extract, transform, and analyse complex financial data. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to inform strategic decisions.
5. Report on Performance KPIs: Track and report KPIs related to financial performance, growth, and productivity. Provide insights to influence commercial decisions.
6. Support Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis and Scenario Modelling: Conduct in-depth financial analysis and build scenario models to evaluate the impact of potential strategies.
7. Monitor and Optimise Finance Models: Regularly review financial models to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with evolving business needs.
What you’ll bring to the role:
1. 3-5 years of experience in financial modelling, data analysis, and financial reporting, with a track record of delivering actionable insights.
2. Highly proficient in Excel, with experience in using advanced functions, pivot tables, and macros to manipulate and analyse large data sets.
3. A solid understanding of financial principles and accounting practices. An accounting qualification, such as AAT, or familiarity with telecommunications industry data is a plus.
4. Exceptional analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail. Capable of identifying issues, proposing solutions, and implementing improvements in financial models and reporting processes.
5. Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams to achieve common goals.
6. Must have the right to work in the UK without restrictions and reside within a commutable distance to Lakeside North Harbour.
