CitySuites, a market leading accommodation for the business traveller, is seeking an experienced, service driven and highly vigilant Receptionist to work within our premium residential residence in Manchester city centre.
As a receptionist, you will work in shifts as part of a team. The reception team will provide a 24/7 reception presence. CitySuites operates 7 days a week, and the reception team will be required to work weekends as well as occasional night shifts.
In a customer-facing environment, you will work as part of a small team providing the very best service and support to the residents. As a night receptionist, you will work through the night to provide customer service outside of office hours, deal with any incidents, and assist our resident customers. The ideal candidate will be service-oriented, independent, confident, and able to manage any issues that may arise. You should possess excellent communication skills and a helpful, can-do attitude. Proficiency in computer use and the ability to liaise with support professionals to provide excellent service to our customers is essential.
Key Role Responsibilities:
* Be the point of contact at the reception desk for all residents and visitors.
* Manage the checking in/out process of guests.
* Handle both phone and email enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
* Assist guests to ensure they have the best possible stay.
* Quickly get to know each resident and ensure they are acknowledged and greeted.
* Attend to any query or incident within the residence and resolve it promptly.
* Complete all allocated tasks independently during the shift.
* Be extremely organised and efficient to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
* Communicate and provide thorough, detailed handovers to co-workers.
* Provide administration support for the residence as part of the reception team.
* Process payments and invoices accurately, completing end-of-day banking reconciliation.
* Operate the PC-based Property Management System for customer enquiries, bookings, payments, issuing invoices, and chasing overdue payments.
* Take the lead in emergencies, following procedures and contacting relevant emergency services while escalating issues to the General Manager.
* Maintain clear and detailed records of any incidents during the shift and prepare written reports for the General Manager when required.
