Position: Customer Service Advisor
Package: £25,000 - £26,500 pa + 21 days holidays rising to 25 with service plus stats, Pension scheme, Annual company bonus.
Location: Altham
Hours: Monday – Thursday 8.45 – 17:00, Friday 8.45 – 15.45.
Summary: The Customer Service Coordinator will be the first point of contact for all customers (internal and external) queries. They will have a dynamic and professional approach with a passion for providing the highest standards of customer support. They will maintain and enhance customer relationships to ensure operational objectives are met.
Environment: Recently refurbished modern office environment within a 24/7 operation, medium to heavy production environment. Huge investment over the last 12mths including new state of the art machinery, (Light & Heavy) industrial and high-speed manufacturing environment and warehouse facility.

Summary of responsibilities:
* Strives to achieve performance standards for timeliness and accuracy of orders and invoicing.
* Processes all incoming sales orders from customers and sales representatives accurately and efficiently.
* Reviews back-order data to determine customer service outputs.
* Follows the returns process through to refund or exchange.
* Daily contact with customers, resolving issues and handling escalated queries.
* Supports the delivery process and liaising between logistics, sales and warehouse departments.
* Maintains strong customer relationships through regular follow-up calls.
* Liaises with couriers and is committed to excellence in all client relationships.
* Sales order book management (enabling accurate visibility of order book/due dates).
Qualifications:
* To have proven experience in a Customer Service role, preferably in the construction industry (not essential)
* To be able to prioritise your own workload and work under your own initiative.
* To be adaptable to change and willing to embrace new ideas and processes.
* To be able to work in a fast-paced varied environment and be able to work under pressure.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
