What is the opportunity? The 24 month programme is for graduates wanting to specialise as Building Surveyors. We will support you in gaining the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) via the Building Surveying pathway through the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). You'll work within our wider Project Management & Building Consultancy department and the programme consists of two years within our building surveying team(s). During your training you will gain experience in all aspects of building surveying, including dilapidations, technical due diligence, development monitoring and contract administration. You will deal with the full range of property types/sectors and may on occasions be able to work across Europe. Birmingham - This location will lead you to become a fully qualified Chartered Building Surveyor (member of the RICS). Bristol - This location will lead you to become a fully qualified Chartered Building Surveyor (member of the RICS). Edinburgh - This location will lead you to become a fully qualified Chartered Building Surveyor (member of the RICS). London - This location will lead you to become a fully qualified Chartered Building Surveyor (member of the RICS). Southampton - This location will lead you to become a fully qualified Chartered Building Surveyor (member of the RICS). What will you be doing? - Conducting surveys and inspections of buildings across different asset classes. - Preparing TDD and Dilapidation reports on the condition of buildings. - Assisting with project management and contract administration. - Providing advice on building regulations and compliance, and conducting research and analysis related to building construction and maintenance. - Providing trusted advice to domestic and international clients to deliver exceptional outcomes, through commercially-focused planning solutions that drive value and growth. - To maximise learning, we ask all of our next generation cohort to be in the office on each of their working days. - You may from time to time be required to work additional hours as are necessary.
