We are recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers to work for our well-known client from their distribution centre in Avonmouth. You will be delivering white goods and electronics to stores around the UK.
Guaranteed 8 hours pay per shift.
Working any 5 out of 7 weekly with flexible shift times on days between delivering to store locations and nights between trunking.
PAYE rates of pay for a HGV Class 1 Driver :
* Days £18.19
* Nights £19.21
* Saturday £20.23
* Sunday £21.25

Key responsibilities of a HGV Class 1 Driver
* Store Deliveries - an element of handball will be required.
* Using the dolly truck and tail lift
* Ensuring the safe delivery of the load
* Maintaining the highest standards at all times
* Abiding by all UK driving laws
* Some heavy lifting
* 11 - 15 hour per day

What are we looking for in a HGV Class 1 Driver ?
* Valid CPC and DIGI card
* No more than 6 points
* No IN, DD, DR
* Minimum 6 months experience
* Good geographical knowledge
