ROLE OVERVIEW Working within the GHD Master Data team, the Master Data analyst is a key role within the business, ensuring timely and accurate data maintenance within a controlled Data Governance framework. This role focuses on the creation and maintenance Material Masters, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Products, and associated data across business systems. The Data Analyst partners with business functions like NPD, Engineering, Supply Chain and Procurement to deliver projects on managing data creation and change requests, improvements, manage data quality initiatives, create dashboards, and perform regular data cleansing activities. JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage daily requests to create, review, validate, and maintain master data in Microsoft D365 and other internal systems. Manage data submissions for product, packaging, and related data creation, ensuring compliance with internal quality systems. Perform ongoing data maintenance including, categorisation, obsolescence/discontinued, active/inactive, corrections, duplicate SKUs, pricing and as well as any other relevant data across applications. Run Master Data report for quality checks and also for dashboard purposes. Support Procurement with Product pricing setup & updates / creation & import of Trade agreement journals. Collect Vendor creation/update request from the business, follow the screening compliance check for Due diligence of vendor information like (T&C, contact & Bank details checks, VAT number) and business requirements. Assist with designing, testing, and implementing new processes and enhancements to systems containing master data. REQUIREMENTS 1 -3 years of data management or data analysis experience. We are open to college/university graduates who have a keen eye for detail and take a methodical and organised approach to your work; some experience of analysing and interrogation of data. Experience working with Microsoft D365 Data Governance or similar Data Governance tool or environment within the Material / Product Domain would be desirable. Experience of MRP or ERP systems in an FMCG environment would be beneficial. Knowledge/Experience using Microsoft AX (Dynamics), SQL Reporting, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel.
