The Account Manager will manage the full scope of project planning, implementation, and oversight working on digital solutions in retail for a major automotive client. This person will be responsible for managing key client relationships working closely with the Account Director and the central and regional operational teams. The role requires pro-active management of all key project deliverables across hardware, installation, maintenance and content delivery. Bringing innovation and insights to the client is key together with robust and reliable project management.
This individual also needs to be a strong leader who can focus on the vision and strategies of the account while managing the tactical components of running the daily business. Balance daily support needs with long-term strategy and successfully combine vision and reality into effective plans.
As Account Manager you will be responsible for:
* Delivering operational excellence
* Delivering effective growth strategies and managing the opportunities for these Clients
* Managing and developing key client relationships
* Managing and owning solution design, deployment and maintenance
You will be responsible for maintaining an excellent standard of communication with existing clients and developing relationships and ways of working with new clients. You will be co-ordinating and liaising with the global team and operations team to deliver your objectives.
You will be a confident ‘self starter’ with excellent communication, relationship building and organisational skills. This role combines pitching and strategic planning as well as driving excellent project delivery for existing clients. Strong client-facing and presentation skills are essential as is a strategic brain and the ability to question the norm and look outside the box.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development of Digital in Retail technology solutions, ensuring proposals are robust and fully tested prior to deployment.
* Build successful partnerships with the client business leads and key decision makers; provide on-going strategic insights and revised solutions/recommendations based on the changing market dynamics and industry trends.
* Continuously improve production solutions and evaluate current spend to maximize capabilities and drive value in the relationship from both an economic and service level.
* Oversee the management of the key focus areas for full solution delivery namely; Tech Design and Development and Digital Deployment.
* Proactively negotiate with new and existing suppliers to drive down costs and deliver process efficiencies for the client. Continually improve margin and profitability on all jobs.
* Prepare and oversee the status of all client jobs and/or projects, confirm that all jobs are delivered on-time, and expedite operations that delay or alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
* Collect, review, and organise job requirements and provide strategic guidance to the production team to optimize bidding and production processes.
* Build and run client-facing technical and business-focused presentations.
* Constantly monitor and report on progress to all key stakeholders; identify and resolve problems and manage project changes in a timely manner, while developing alternative solutions to achieve project output.
* Analyse job revenue, cost, and profitability, as well as quarterly and yearly analysis. Prepare Quarterly Business Reviews to present to the client and HH Global’s management. Demonstrate the ability to function competently both as a leader and member of a team as well as understanding and acknowledging the role and function of other members of the team.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
* Understanding of the digital signage components namely; software, hardware and Screen OEMs, reporting, analytics, content design install, maintenance and customer services.
* Experience working with suppliers and vendors in the sector.
* Experience of managing digital for retail projects with multiple country roll out initiatives either within a multinational organisation or in a retail agency environment.
* Experience in direct client interfacing experience managing and working with global/multi-national clients.
* Previous experience of Scala content management solutions is desirable.
* Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project and Outlook), e-procurement and ERP tools knowledge is preferable.
* Entrepreneurial minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and succeed.
* Experience excelling within fast paced, high energy environments.
