Relief Support Worker
Location – Longcroft
Pay Rate - £12.00 per hour
The Role

You will be joining a dedicated team of experienced support workers in a residential home in Longcroft, Falkirk supporting 6 individuals. On a typical day you will promote independence and support people to meet their chosen outcomes and goals. Full support is required for all day-to-day living tasks, this will include:
1. Personal care
2. Medication administration
3. Cooking
4. Domestic tasks
Shifts are generally 6 hours long:
8:00am - 2:00pm or 2:00pm - 8:00pm. There is the option to work the full 12-hour shift.
We also have waking night shifts which are 8:00pm - 8:00am.
Our care home has a very warm, homely and welcoming atmosphere which is appreciated by both the people we support and our staff members. The individuals we support enjoy a variety of meaningful activities each day. We support people with complex health needs which can impact their communication skills. It is therefore essential that you have excellent interpersonal skills and are willing to undertake all required training. This is to ensure that the individual’s wishes and needs are fully understood and met.
Previous experience is preferred for this position although full training will be provided.
An enhanced PVG is required for this role.
