the night house manager we’re looking for!
The role:
As the night house manager, you will oversee the hotel during night time hours, ensuring smooth
operations and conducting night audits to balance financial records. You’ll
handle check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest enquiries, providing
friendly and efficient reception services. Additionally, you’ll support and
train team members, sharing knowledge about hotel operations and offering
on-the-job training. Your role also involves ensuring guest satisfaction by
addressing issues promptly and maintaining hotel security. Your dedication and
expertise will help maintain our high standards of hospitality. This role will follow a 4 days on/4 days off pattern.
What your nights could look like:
* Handle any potential guest-related issues
quickly and smoothly
* Oversee and assist in the smooth running of all
guest-related tasks and issues
* Have a physical presence at the front desk all
night
* Prepare and deliver any room service orders
* Oversee the night cleaner and ensure all areas
are being cleaned to the required standard
* Support the management team with any relevant
administration tasks as required
* Any other duties deemed necessary to ensure
excellent levels of guest services are provided
* Be guest focused at all times
* Prepare room keys & information for the
following day’s arrivals
* Be responsible for the cleanliness of the
reception area and the cleaning/maintenance of the open fires.
Job skills and requirements:
* A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role
* Previous Front of House experience
* A demonstrable commitment to high-end guest experience
* A strong team player with bags of enthusiasm and personality
* Excellent task prioritisation and delegation
* Diplomatic nature
* Ability to work as part of a team
